Learning to Run

I started the Couch to 5K program that is meant to get beginners running this week and so far I love it.

I can’t wait until I can run longer distances.  It will be so awesome.  There’s something really rewarding about the fact that I can run now when I could not before.  I’m confident I will make it to running 5k (3 miles) but maybe not in the 9 weeks of the program.  Might take me a little longer.  I’ve never run over 1 mile in my life.

  1. That’s great! Keep at it, you’ll get there!! I remember a couple years ago I couldn’t do more than 5 min. on a treadmill and now I’m doing all sorts of races including a marathon! I like the quote by the way 🙂
